Last Bank Holiday Monday I popped down to Tunerfest at Donington. For a change the weather was great that is always a bonus and when you are surrounded by cars and a live racetrack what more could you want?
I did not get to see the most of the stuff that went on at Tunerfest, I saw bits here and there and to me felt a lot like TRAX Donington with a lot more going on and less club stands. Time-attack, drifting, mini driving course, public track times were a few of the different events going on throughout the day.
What I really liked about the event is how you could walk around the pits and all the viewpoints on the track were accessible. A lot of great looking cars and most of the time I spent our the Supercar Paddock hosted by Supercars of Birmingham. Lots of garage goal cars that even stretched their legs on track.
They day flew by and I didn't even take many photos which sucks but meant I had little to do in the evening. A event I recommend checking out and I think a lot more will be going on there next year. The first time Tunerfest had been hosted at Donington and I believe they will be back next year.
Hopefully that time I will get to see more of the event. Hope you had a great bank holiday and let me know what you got up to!
